Overview

The UK Program for Bioethics is offering a second clinical ethics conference to interested healthcare professionals in Kentucky and the surrounding area.

LCME and ACGME accreditation guidelines require ethics education and The Joint Commission requires accredited healthcare institutions to have a process for addressing ethics-related issues. It is important for high-quality patient care that personnel who fulfill these requirements are appropriately trained.

Expert presentations will provide important information on selected topics while creating an interactive environment where participants can raise issues, ask questions, and discuss strategies for resolving ethical issues.
