Overview

Hospitalists are the fastest growing specialty in the history of American medicine with more than 57,000 in the U.S. The University of Kentucky (UK) Division of Hospital Medicine is once again hosting the annual Heartland Hospital Medicine Conference with input from steering committee members representing the Charleston Area Medical Center, Indiana University, Lake Cumberland Medical Center, the University of Louisville, the Ohio State University, and Vanderbilt University. The conference will be held in Lexington, Kentucky, and includes nationally recognized leaders in hospital medicine as well as other stellar speakers from around the heartland region. This will be an evidence-based, continuing medical education (CME) opportunity.
