Needs Statement

The PHAB accreditation process is paperless and is conducted through PHAB’s online information system – e-PHAB. Applicants must have competent skills using the system to upload and submit documentation. Other health department staff may also work within the e-PHAB environment and will need the skills to operate this web-based application. Applicants are given an introduction to using the system during applicant training.  

Target Audience

Health Department Accreditation Coordinators who have been to the in-person training, Health Department Directors, other Health Department staff from applicants, Health Departments who are considering applying for accreditation, and any others interested in the PHAB online information system

Objectives

At the conclusion of this educaitonal activity, you will be able to:
  • Use the e-PHAB information system to enter data and upload documentation
  • Train other staff in the health department to use the e-PHAB system
