Biosketch
Dr. James Nash studied pharmacy and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia and a Master of Public Health at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He completed a general pharmacy practice residency at the University of Colorado and a specialized residency in primary care at the University of Texas. Dr. Nash is board certified as a pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS) by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties and licensed as a pharmacist in Colorado, Florida and Kentucky. He has practiced in a variety of settings to include Kaiser Permanente, Humana, Total Therapeutic Management, The Ohio State University, Regis University and Sullivan University. Currently, Dr. Nash is a professor of Clinical & Administrative Sciences, as well as the Associate Dean of Experiential and Interprofessional Education at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. He also is a commissioned officer in the Medical Service Corp of the US Navy Reserves. Jamie is married to Jennifer and has four children. In his spare time, he enjoys running, working out, and spending time with his family.
