Art Van Zee, MD

An internist certified in Addiction Medicine, Dr. Van Zee has been practicing primary care in a small coal mining town in southwest Virginia for over 30 years. He became interested in Addiction Medicine when Oxycontin® addiction came to the coal fields. He has been providing office-based buprenorphine treatment to opioid addicted patients for the last six years and is also a preceptor to medical students and residents from East Tennessee State University.
