Alan V. Safdi, MD

Dr. Safdi performed his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University where he graduated in three years and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati Medical School. He was elected to the Honorary Medical Society of AOA in his third year. His residency was in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, and his Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Alan Safdi is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. He currently serves as a director of Gastroenterology at Deaconess Hospital and has been on that hospital’s executive committee. He has served as a past president, treasurer, and secretary for the Southwest Ohio Digestive Disease Society.
