Dr. Castellanos earned an MD from the National Autonomous University of Honduras. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her nephrology training was at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
She joined the faculty at the University of Kentucky and is a part of the solid organ transplant team.
Clinical interests include adult kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, live donor kidney transplant, and chronic kidney disease.
