Biosketch
Robyn Longford-Woidtke R.N. RPSGT, CCRA, RAC writes extensively on the topic of sleep and has been published in many trade magazines. Robyn has nearly 20 years of clinical and research experience in the field of sleep and its disorders. She has been a faculty member, School of Sleep Medicine, Stanford University since 1987. Robyn developed and coordinated the Pediatric Sleep Program at Queen of the Valley Hospital in CA. This laboratory became the first pediatric sleep facility to achieve accreditation in the state of California (1987). Robyn is a regularly invited instructor in both pediatric and adult polysomnographic technology classes as well as an invited speaker at regional and national meetings. She teaches physician and technologist groups as well as other medical professional specialists. She is a past member, Board of Directors, Association of Polysomnographic Technologists and Chief Board Examiner, BRPT. Robyn has also been the recipient of many awards including the Carskaden Research Award for Sleep Technologists.
