Biosketch
George Davis is Anticoagulation Program Coordinator with UK HealthCare Pharmacy Services and Associate Adjunct Professor with University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. He completed residency and research fellowship training at the University of Kentucky and has been a clinical pharmacist at UK for over 18 years with practice, teaching, research, and scholarly activity in clinical pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, and internal medicine. In his current position, he is pharmacist coordinator of the UK HealthCare Anticoagulation Stewardship Program which includes involvement in a multidisciplinary inpatient anticoagulation consult service, anticoagulation transition of care clinic, quality assurance/safety, and formulary management. Most recently, he has served in a leadership role in development of multidisciplinary Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) at UK HealthCare.
