Biosketch
Dr. Zeitler received an MD and completed his residency at the New York School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship at the University of Miami Ear Institute at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Zeitler is board certified in Otolaryngology and Neurotology.
He has been involved with multiple industry-sponsored clinical research protocols and has several ongoing projects, including cochlear implantation for single-sided deafness in children and adults and cochlear implantation in the elderly. His areas of expertise include cochlear implants, acoustic neuroma, middle ear reconstructive surgery, chronic ear disease, disorders of facial nerve, and medical and surgical management of ear problems.
Dr. Zeitler has also participated in medical mission trips to Eastern Africa and serves as a guest lecturer for local and national non-profit groups. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Blue Engine, a program that partners with public high schools to prepare dramatically greater numbers of low-income students for postsecondary success.
