Biosketch
Dr. Cornell joined the faculty at the University of Louisville in October of 2010 and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee were she obtained her degree in Speech and Hearing Science with a concentration in Audiology. While completing her degree she also completed an Alexander Graham Bell Cochlear Implant Fellowship in 2010; one of nine nationwide.
Dr. Cornell is the Director of Clinical Services for the program and currently divides her time at the University of Louisville between clinical practice, teaching, and research. Dr. Cornell is responsible for teaching: Essential Techniques in Audiometry for Pediatrics and Adults, Hearing Aids and Pathologies. Currently, she has several research projects underway and research interests include cochlear implants, spatial hearing, and hearing aids. Clinically, Dr. Cornell divides her time between two of the University Hearing and Balance locations as well as Norton Children's Hospital.
