Biosketch
Dr. Goldberg earned an MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Pennsylvania. During his fellowship, he obtained a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology, after which he completed a one-year post-doctoral research fellowship, followed by a one-year fellowship in Transplant Hepatology.
In his current position, Dr. Goldberg devotes 80% of his time to clinical research. His research interests include investigating the epidemiology and health care delivery for patients with end-stage liver disease, geographic factors associated with access to healthcare, and novel studies to improve organ utilization.
He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
