Biosketch
Rev. Craggs joined Norton Healthcare after serving as a chaplain in hospices and hospitals in Georgia, South Carolina, Indiana, and Kentucky. He has more than 20 years of experience as a chaplain in end-of-life care, trauma, ethical issues, and advance directives.
He is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer having served in Liberia, West Africa.
Rev. Craggs holds a BS from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, and the MDiv from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. He is enrolled in the Master of Bioethics Program at University of Louisville.
He is an ordained Baptist minister and endorsed through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. He also is a board-certified chaplain through the Association of Professional Chaplains.
Rev. Craggs is Vice Chair of the Norton Children’s Hospital Ethics Committee and conducts ethics consults for the pediatric patients at Norton Children’s Hospital.
