Biosketch
Dr. Kaye earned an MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and completed residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with focused practice in Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Kaye came to UK from the Henry Ford Hospital where he was the core clinical faculty for their residency program. In addition, he was the associate director for hospital Quality and Utilization, reporting to the hospital’s associate CMO and the system’s CEO. Prior to this, Dr. Kaye served as an associate program director for the Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University and as physician advisor to Detroit Receiving Hospital.
Throughout this time and since 2000, he has been practicing hospital medicine Since coming to UK, Dr. Kaye has continued to work in QI and serve as Medical Director of Utilization Management, Utilization Review and Clinical Documentation Integrity.
