Overview
This educational activity is designed to provide useful and the most up-to-date information about best practices for primary care providers concerning HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis.
Does this course meet my Kentucky State HIV License Requirement?
YES, if you attend the entire day’s events you will be issued credit for attending the Kentucky Department of Public Health certified course CHFS #1211‐0722‐M (2‐hr. Kentucky HIV Certification for Medical Professionals). It is approved or all professions for licensing including physicians, physician assistants, podiatrists, social workers, athletic trainers, chiropractors, dentists and dental hygienists, emergency medical technicians, nurses, optometrists, and paramedics.
Registration Deadline, Fees & Educational Materials
The deadline to register is October 6. Registration fees include educational materials, a continuing education online statement of credit, breakfast, breaks and lunch. As part of our “Green CME” policy, educational materials will be available online for download prior to the meeting. Any materials not available prior to the meeting will be made available immediately afterward.

This application-based activity has been assigned ACPE #022-000-10-176-L02-P and will award 6.87 contact hours (0.687 CEU) of continuing pharmacy education credit in states that recognize ACPE providers.
Statements of credit will indicate hours and CEUs based on participation and will be issued online at the conclusion of the activity. Successful completion includes signing in at registration, attending the entire session for which credit is claimed, completing the activity evaluation and requesting credit online at conclusion of the activity. The College complies with the Accreditation Standards for Continuing Pharmacy Education.
NURSING
Nursing credit for this program will not be provided, however the Kentucky AIDS Education Training Center will assist any conference participant who needs nursing credit for this program with an individual application for credit to the Kentucky Board of Nursing. DENTISTRY
This live, interactive course meets regulatory requirements for 7 credit hours as permitted by 201 KAR 8:530E and 201 KAR 8:560E as they relate to continuing education for dentists and hygienists.
