Course Overview

This educational activity is designed to provide advanced clinical sessions with the most up‐to-date information about best practices in HIV/AIDS care for HIV and Infectious Disease Specialists. The Program Director is Alice C. Thornton, MD, and the Program Coordinator is Jennifer D. Edwards.

The Registration Fee of $30 includes educational materials, a continuing education online statement of credit, breakfast, and lunch. As part of our “Green CME” policy, educational materials will be available online for download prior to the meeting. Any materials not available prior to the meeting will be made available immediately afterward.

Pharmacy

ACPEThe University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

This knowledge‐based activity has been assigned ACPE #022-000-10-035-L02-P and will award up to 4.25 contact hours (0.425 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit in states that recognize ACPE providers.

Statements of credit will indicate hours and CEUs based on participation and will be issued online at the conclusion of the activity. Successful completion includes attending the entire session for which credit is claimed, completing the activity evaluation, and requesting credit online at conclusion of the activity. The College complies with the Accreditation Standards for Continuing Pharmacy Education.

Nursing
Nursing credit for this program will not be provided, however the Kentucky AIDS Education Training Center will assist any conference participant who needs nursing credit for this program with an individual application for credit to the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
