Overview

This three day educational offering is aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skill level of practicing pharmacists.  Educational offerings have been designed to balance both broad primary and acute care scenarios.  Topics and presenters have been selected to maximize practical knowledge and to empower participants to apply concepts within their own practices.  Emphasis has been placed on therapeutic areas where recent advances or gains in knowledge have expanded current treatment guidelines.

Accreditation

ACPEThe University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

This knowledge-based activity has been assigned (ACPE numbers listed below) and will award 15.00 contact hours (1.5 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit in states that recognize ACPE providers.

Statements of credit will indicate hours and CEUs based on participation and will be issued online at the conclusion of the activity. Successful completion includes signing in at registration, attending the entire session for which credit is claimed, completing the activity evaluation and requesting credit online at conclusion of the activity. The College complies with the Accreditation Standards for Continuing Pharmacy Education.
