Michelle Lofwall, MD

Dr. Lofwall is an adult psychiatrist specializing in office-based burprenorphine treatment for opioid dependence. Her clinical research is aimed at improving the treatment of prescription opioid dependence. She is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents about office-based opioid addiction treatment encouraging all medical specialties to learn more and help treat addiction.

Lance Longo, MD

Medical Director, Addiction Services
Aurora Behavioral Health Services
Milwaukee, WI

Dr. Longo is the Medical Director of addiction services for Aurora Behavioral Health Services and heads the Opiate Recovery Program at the Aurora Psychiatric Hospital's Dewey Center.

He is a Fellow in the American Society of Addiction Medicine and a PCSS mentor.

Dr. Longo has been actively involved in teaching, resaerch, and the clinical care of patients with addictions and psychiatric disorders.

Sharon Walsh, PhD

Professor, Psychiatry & Behavioral Science
Director, Center on Drug and Alcohol Research
University of Kentucky

Dr. Walsh’s research has evaluated clinically relevant pharmacologic aspects of methadone and buprenorphine as well as the abuse liability of prescription opioids. She has served on FDA advisory panels evaluating new tamper resistant drug formulations and has taught doctors about the clinical pharmacology of buprenorphine and other opioids.

She is also the past President of the College on Problems of Drug Dependence.

Martha Wunsch, MD

Associate Professor, Behavioral Science and the Center on Drug and Alcohol Research
University of Kentucky

A fellowship-trained Addiction Medicine specialist, Dr. Wunsch’s clinical and research interests are focused on rural prescription drug abuse. She is an At-Large Director of the newly formed American Board of Addiction Medicine and a Physician Clinical Support System mentor to doctors across Appalachia providing office-based buprenorphine treatment.
