Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
  • Evaluate and manage the most common medical disorders encountered in day-to-day practice
  • Discuss the leading causes of death in the United States as described by Mokdad, et al. (2004)
  • Review the Healthy People 2020 initiative and the Leading Health Indicators associated with that initiative
  • Use the basic tools to evaluate and manage these health risk behaviors within the scope of their individual practices
  • Improve the daily administration of the primary care practice applying timely practice management and medicolegal information
