11th Annual University of Kentucky Sports Medicine Symposium

Overview

The 11th Annual UK Sports Medicine Symposium brings an interdisciplinary approach to participants interested in sports medicine.  Nationally renowned and experienced sports medicine professionals present current topics and updated guidelines.  Workshops are included to allow for a small group learning experience. 

Accreditation

• The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
 

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™  on Friday, May 15, 2009, and 3.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ on Saturday, May 16, 2009, for a total of 10.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians  should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine presents this activity for educational purposes only. Participants are expected to utilize their own expertise and judgment while engaged in the practice of medicine. The content of the presentations is provided solely by presenters who have been selected for presentations because of recognized expertise in their field.

•  NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association) credit has been approved for 10.75 contact hours. Provider #: P2382         

• Kentucky Physical Therapy Association:  has been approved for 10.75 credit hours for continuing competency. Approval number 34-IPKPTA-09. 

Cost of Attendance

The registration fee includes all lectures, educational materials, continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks and a certificate of attendance.
