Overview

Understanding genetic mutations and using those mutations to select canter therapy is a paradigm shift in the clinical care of our patients and in cancer treatment. This symposium, a first in Kentucky, will provide strategies for implementing precision medicine into clinical practice. Attendees will learn about how team science can benefit cancer care based on tumor genetic characteristics, in addition to helping them understand, interpret and apply testing results in order to guide patient care.
