2nd Annual Rural Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Conference

Welcome to the 2010 KARRN Rehabilitation Conference

Spinal cord injury (SCI) often results in loss of motor and sensory function that significantly impacts the person's quality of life. Even though life expectancy has improved during the past few decades, people with SCI continue to experience diminished life expectancy and community participation; the extent of which depends on several factors including the nature and severity of the SCI, as well as health, economic, and psychsocial factors.

This virtual conference was captured from the 2nd Annual KARRN Rural Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Conference in Somerset, Kentucky on October 13, 2010 and is targeted to healthcare providers who work with spinal cord injury.
