Introduction
Bedside ultrasound has been shown to decrease complications and increase efficacy of procedures such as central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and many others. It also can be used to diagnose and treat patients more quickly and accurately. However, it is a new technology and a great number of physicians have not had adequate training to fully take advantage of its many benefits. This training will help bridge that gap.
