Needs Statement

Complex pelvic fractures require the swiftest assessment, resuscitation and multimodality management of any of the blunt traumatic injuries that are commonplace in trauma centers.  Much as evolved in the past two to five years that has made the outcome of these most severe injuries improve and this presentation will organize and highlight modern therapeutic options.

  1. Discuss statement of the problem.
  2. Describe initial hemodynamic management.
  3. Differentiate between pre-operative, operative and post-operative management.
