Needs Statement

This activity will provide education on the most current HB1, KASPER, and urine drug testing guidelines.

Target Audience

Primary care providers, nurses, social workers, and pharmacists.


Upon completion of this educational activity, you will be able to:

  • Describe requirements by KBML for opioid prescribing for chronic pain
  • Identify how to respond to a worrisome KASPER report
  • Interpret basic urine drug testing results
  • Identify potential pitfalls in urine drug testing
